Quinn Oulton is a singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in South London. He started playing saxophone at a young age, and grew up enveloped in the world of jazz. His current music fuses his influences of indie and jazz, in what has been described as a 'cocktail we can’t help but drink more of every time'.
Quinn’s debut album, self-produced in his bedroom, was released independently in late 2017. His first show was at Kansas Smitty’s in London Fields, supported by LA-based band KNOWER, which quickly sold out.
In 2018, Quinn was chosen to take part in the Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin, where his range of influences was stretched further, working with the likes of legendary hip-hop producer Just Blaze, and industry leading string arranger Larry Gold (Justin Timberlake, Kanye West).
He was a winner of the BBC Introducing London competition in October 2019 with single ‘Little Bit Of Crazy’, and he supported Heatwave the next month at the Jazz Cafe in London.
In early 2020, he toured around Europe and the UK as saxophonist for UK Jazz figurehead Moses Boyd’s ‘Exodus’, arriving back in London to release EP ‘Long Gone’ in March 2020. This EP showcased a significant expansion from his previous work, with hard hitting production, and intimate, refined songwriting and vocal performances.
